Navigating Hollywood Disruption
As Global Chief Operating Officer at DNEG, one of the world’s leading visual entertainment services companies, Jurow stewarded the company from post-pandemic hyper-growth through WGA & SAG-AFTRA strikes and industry retrenchment, dramatically streamlining operations, maturing data and procurement functions, implementing a bespoke Cloud resource management system, while launching two new business units, driving the transformation to a more diversified, more profitable, end-to-end entertainment enterprise.
Integrating Creative Operations
As Chief Operating Officer for the Film & Episodic VFX division at Technicolor, Jurow integrated prior acquisitions, unified India operations, instituted world-class R&D and cloud compute governance, and built PMO, Workforce Planning, and Technical Resource Management teams and systems, while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and the sustained shockwaves it caused through the industry.
Scaling a Global Innovation Agency
Over 15 years at R/GA, Jurow helped grow the firm from $75 million to $400 million in annual revenues and record margins, to become one of the most highly regarded agency and consultancy services in the world. As EVP, Global Head of Production and interim APAC regional MD, he led the development of in-house project and resource management systems, fueled the growing US, LATAM, EMEA and APAC regions and led R/GA’s Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Shanghai, and Tokyo offices.
He led 250 producers across 18 offices in 11 countries, delivering the most broadly award-winning work from product and service design to digital and traditional advertising, to brand and business consulting.
